Love to sample good food, hear live music, and network with interesting folks? If that describes you, the Charlotte Chamber University City has a deal for you … and it only costs $7 ($10 if you buy your ticket at the 5-8 pm, Sept 29 event).

Many of you may remember Race Taste. University City Taste uses many of the elements that made that event such a big hit, now setting it lakeside at University Place (8929 JM Keynes, behind the University Hilton). Still have a need for speed? Instead of pace cars, race the swans in a paddleboat.
To whet your appetite, University City restaurants are offering a wide array of foods with a decidedly international taste (the restaurants and other details can be found at www.universitycityCLT.org). And you can wet your whistle as well – all for that same $7 ticket.
Not quite sure? Event sponsors, including the Charlotte 49ers, will have giveaways, the music is by Innertwyned featuring area resident Adrian Crutchfield, and this stretch of University Place was patterned after Barcelona’s Las Ramblas.
University City may be Charlotte’s second largest employment center, but it really knows how to throw a good party. Use this link to buy your tickets online.
