The Healthy Charlotte Council is focused on helping make Charlotte nationally recognized for its healthy initiatives and robust health services industry. The council is focused on three key areas- physical activity, nutrition and tobacco cessation, and uses the power of the business community to drive change. The council meets quarterly and offers opportunities for chamber members who are in the health industry, or just passionate about it, to network.

Take the TryIt! Tuesday Challenge! The Chamber’s Healthy Charlotte Council’s Try It! Tuesday is a fun nutrition initiative that encourages citizens to make healthier food choices. Food is fuel for our bodies, and every healthy choice that becomes a habit builds a healthier body and together, a healthier city. The goal is to get people thinking (at least one day a week) about what they eat and how just making simple changes can have a positive impact on their health. Get more information >>
