Bronze Sponsor Spotlight
This decades old ad produced by McGraw Hill Magazines was meant to entice corporations to think about the power of advertising. As a manufacturer you may not consider marketing important, but if companies choose to ignore the benefits of creating a positive brand image, they take the risk of handicapping their sales force from making a sale. Everyone is a consumer. Customers measure Brand Equity by whom and what they know about the corporation. Knowing when to market the corporation and when to market your product is critical. To start set a clear objective; remember there is no ‘one size fits all’; establish a budget; develop and test the creative so that can be well-communicated and understood; and finally end with a call to action. With over 35 years of being in the advertising business, I can tell you it’s not magic. It takes work.
So, remember, sales begin before your salesman calls.
