Event Recap
In March, Engage Charlotte hosted a panel of "bosses" and experts to help YP’s understand how to find (and keep) a job successfully in the midst of the current economic downturn. The panel cautioned that the days of online job hunting are over. With a tremendous pool of job applicants available to employers, one way to give yourself a significant advantage over other jobseekers is through in-person networking. In addition to more competitive jobseeking, the current economic climate has many YP’s worried about losing their jobs. The panel gave useful suggestions for how YP’s can make themselves indispensable to their employers. Click here to read summary notes or listen to a podcast of the event.
