CharlotteONE is a unified movement of currently 26 local churches whose sole mission is to reach young adults (18-35) in Charlotte for Christ and connect them to a local faith community.

BRAVO! is Opera Carolina's premier group for young professionals interested in exploring and enhancing their enjoyment of Charlotte's vibrant performing arts scene. With a membership base of more than 200 people, Bravo! offers the opportunity to meet new people through events, good food and, of course, Opera Carolina's annual opera productions. Opera Carolina provides BRAVO! members with a variety of exciting social and educational activities as well as discount tickets to Saturday night operas. BRAVO! members range in age from 22 to 40 years old.

Club Red, affiliated with the American Red Cross Greater Carolinas Chapter, is a dynamic group of young professionals committed to helping the Charlotte-area community prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters through community service, education and social fundraising. Club Red provides community service, networking, leadership development and mentoring opportunities for its members.

Gen Y Council's mission is to build an informed, active Generation Y community throughout Charlotte. Through a council of selected members and an online groupsite, we hope to create a gateway for the Gen Y community at large to help shape the future of our city. It is our hope to provide a "seat at the table" for our generation, to enable our voices to be heard, our needs and desires to be brought to the attention of both private and public groups, and to build a city that our generation will be proud to call home.

Guys with Ties Charlotte is a non-profit organization founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2006 by 5 men seeking to enrich the Charlotte community through social events targeted at the young professional community that raise money and awareness for deserving charities in the Charlotte area. The goal of Guys with Ties is to connect Charlotte’s growing population of young professionals to organizations in our community that make Charlotte a better place.

The National Black MBA Association, Inc. (NBMBAA) is a non-profit organization of minority MBAs, business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students. With thousands of members worldwide working in both private and public sectors, we share a commitment to education and business – the two principal keys to the economic development of the Black community.

Opus X promotes the engagement of a new generation with the Charlotte Symphony, providing unique opportunities to experience great music in a fun social environment. Cultural collaborations offer Opus X subscribers the chance to meet people across the spectrum of Charlotte society. Enjoy excellent concert seating, exclusive parties and stimulating programs that give you deeper insight into the music.

The roots of the Public Library of Charlotte Mecklenburg County can be traced to 1891. In the last years of the 20th century, the library system grew to more than 20 locations (including five regional libraries offering expanded services) serving people in neighborhoods and towns across the county. From a grand total of 2,526 books when the Carnegie library opened in 1903, today's library system contains over 1.5 million adult and children's classics, favorite paperbacks, modern best sellers, videos, CDs and DVDs, with more than 500 employees county-wide helping to make information available to virtually anyone who wants it. As the county and region grows, the Library reaches out in traditional and new ways.

Founded in 1914, The Risk Management Association (RMA), is a not-for-profit, member-driven professional association, whose sole purpose is to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry. RMA promotes an enterprise approach to risk management that focuses on credit risk, market risk and operational risk.

United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

The Charlotte Young Alumni Council thrives due to the large presence of UNC alumni in the Charlotte area. The council meets five to six times per year, usually in informal social gatherings or planning meetings. The council hosts social events for its members such as happy hours, events with notable UNC speakers, and joint events with GAA. A Bell Tower Party is hosted every spring by the Charlotte council in order to recruit new members and encourage giving back to Carolina.

YAD, the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte, offers young Jewish singles, couples and new area residents (ages 21-45) a broad range of social, educational and philanthropic opportunities as a means to enhance commitment and connection to the Federation and its mission.

Our events provide an opportunity to expand social or professional networks with other young Jews in the Charlotte area and encourage involvement in the Charlotte Jewish community.

The Young Affiliates of the Mint is a group of diverse young professionals who promote and support the Mint Museum of Art and the Mint Museum of Craft and Design through educational, volunteer, leadership and social opportunities. Started in 1990, the Young Affiliates serve as the premier social arts organization for young professionals in the Charlotte area.
