Background

For the last 56 years, the Charlotte Chamber has taken a group of business leaders and public officials on an annual trip to a city to learn best practices while getting a firsthand look at that city's innovative ideas, programs and initiatives. This year, the group will visit Seattle, led by Honorary Co-Chairs Hugh McColl and Sally Robinson. Michael Marsicano will serve as the trip chair. Participants - including board of advisor members, local leaders and public officials - will examine how Seattle has addressed issues such as education, transportation, regionalism and economic development.
