Harvard Business School case study on Mayor Bloomberg's administration's strategy for economic development,
review here.

For the last 57 years, the Charlotte Chamber has taken a group of business leaders and public officials on an annual trip to a city to learn best practices while getting a firsthand look at that city's innovative ideas, programs and initiatives. This year, the group will visit New York City, led by trip chair Mayor Anthony Foxx. Participants - including board of advisor members, local leaders and public officials - will examine how New York has addressed issues such as public-private partnerships, economic development, infrastructure investments and entrepreneurship.
