Let's face it, some of the
changes that we see in the economy
are permanent. Things will not revert to
"the way that they were." Resisting changing
dynamics in the workplace will cause more pain and loss.
In our case, the demand for coaching services
is rising. During times of transition and life change,
more people understand the benefits of having a coach and
the value of coaching. We keep an eye on the scoreboard,
while encouraging and honing our clients skills and talents
in the present moment.
You score ... we win. And the economy, in general, benefits.
When the economy caught up with what we
were experiencing in our business, we had already
pulled back on our spending. Most of what we
do now has some form of barter to it.
So our relationship skills, while always important, are now
crucial to the ongoing health of our business. Encouraging
people to do what they do best, instead of putting them in jobs that encourage mediocrity, we create, in the long-run, a
happier, thriving community.
Our processes are automated to be efficient and
to make certain that our coaches are
free to do what they do best. They must be free
to think, write, train and coach. We have updated our programs
and our technology.
When we see ourselves as winners, able to transform
our environments, the economy shows the
effect of our flexibility in the face of tremendous change.
