At Microsoft, we have taken our own steps to reprioritize during this difficult economic downturn. While our core strategies for business growth remain unchanged, we have made some recent operational adjustments to ensure that our investments are tightly aligned with current and future revenue opportunities. Providing our customers with software, services and solutions that help them save money, increase efficiency and achieve their full potential is still our focus.

Microsoft understands that our situation is similar to that of our customers who also are seeking to do more with less. Through technologies like Microsoft unified communications and Windows Server Hyper-V, customers are maximizing their IT investments while decreasing their environmental impact. Each day this commitment to innovation extends into every office nationwide through efforts to become increasingly environmentally sustainable.

The greater Charlotte community also has benefited from Microsoft’s local support. From our Arrowood offices Microsoft continues its charitable commitments through employee matching of $17 per volunteer hour, dollar-for-dollar match of charitable contributions up to $12,000 annually, as well as investing directly in local communities with grants of software and cash. We remain active in supporting our customers and continue to invest in our communities as we look ahead to the future.
