Anderson consolidates U.S. headquarters,
to add 25 jobs in Charlotte

Anderson Group America, a member of Taiwan’s Anderson Group, will relocate U.S. corporate headquarters from Cordage Street to a 48,760 sq.ft building at 10710 Southern Loop Boulevard in southwest Charlotte. The company will add 25 jobs within the coming year.

Based in Taiwan, Anderson Group manufactures high-speed CNC machining systems, routers moulders and tool grinders for various industries, including woodworking, plastics, nonferrous metalworking, automotive, aerospace, entertainment, petrochemical and electronics.

Anderson Group America was formed by the recent consolidation of Omnitech Systems, Inc. and Anderson American Corp. The group, which focuses on the importation and servicing of CNC woodworking and printing equipment, now includes six divisions: Omnitech Systems Inc., Anderson America Corp. (AAC), Anderson Print and Graphics (APG), Owen, Anderson Group America (West coast), and Anderson South America (ASA). Omitech and Anderson America Corp. will continue to operate separate dealer networks and accounting and sale channels but will undergo an operational merger with emphasis on efficiency and cohesion.

The new Charlotte headquarters will feature a video conferencing room, showroom with a wide selection of CNC routers and machining centers from all six divisions, new spindle repair facility, software training classroom, warehouse and space for the future assembly of CNC machines.

Jim Whiteside of Whiteside Industrial Properties represented Anderson Group America with site selection and lease negotiation. The landlord was represented by Michael Catanese of NAI Southern Real Estate.

The Charlotte Chamber assisted Anderson Group America with expansion planning.
