Yu Consulting Engineers Expands to Charlotte

HC Yu and Associates (HCYU), a professional consulting engineering corporation headquartered in Richmond, VA, has opened a Charlotte office in the University City area.

Founded in 1980 by Mr. Hsing Chung Yu, HCYU chose Charlotte due to its growth potential and centralized location from which to cover the Southeast.

Yu Consulting Engineers is especially focused on providing sustainable solutions and working with owners to improve their current building environment while reducing operating costs. The firm offers comprehensive commissioning services for new and existing buildings, LEED consultation, energy audits, Energy Star verifications, and MEP design services for institutional, educational, health-care, commercial, municipal and industrial applications.

HCYU expects to add staff in its Charlotte office later this year.  The Charlotte Chamber assisted the company with its expansion.
