Ameritrust expands, to add 70 jobs in Charlotte

Ameritrust, a Charlotte-based mortgage finance company, announced today plans to add 70 jobs during the remainder of 2010.  

The expansion will double Ameritrust’s headcount and is prompted by the company’s decision to broaden services with the launch of new wealth management and insurance operations.  Founded in 1995 by John Owens, CEO, Ameritrust offers a variety of retail mortgage loan packages that are now to be augmented by the products and services of Ameritrust Wealth Management and Ameritrust Insurance.

Ameritrust recently relocated to a larger, 17,000 sq. ft. space on Lancaster Highway in south Charlotte.  
 
The Charlotte Chamber, the North Carolina Community College System and Central Piedmont Community college worked with Ameritrust to support the company’s expansion.
