Compass Group USA Expands Headquarters

North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue announced today that Compass Group USA, a leading provider of contract food and related support services, plans to create 200 new jobs in its Charlotte corporate offices. The new jobs have an average salary of $52,500 and are the result of moving some corporate jobs from various regional headquarters. Compass Group USA is currently located in Coliseum Center off of Tyvola Road and Yorkmont Road.

“At a time when unemployment remains at historic levels, we are pleased to be able to bring 200 jobs to North Carolina, Charlotte and Mecklenburg County,” said Gary Green, CEO, Compass Group North America.

Compass Group USA serves prominent corporations and provides catering for some of the largest events in the world. The company is active in multiple markets including business and industry, education, sports and entertainment, cultural and specialty dining, healthcare and senior living and conference centers and hotels.
