QC Data hires 60 in Charlotte expansion

Engineering and data services provider QC Data has hired 60 engineers and drafting specialists in a major expansion of its Charlotte operation.

An international leader in its field, QC Data specializes in outside-plant (OSP) engineering design and data management services for the telecom and utility sectors. The company has delivered projects on several continents for such companies as Florida Power & Light, AT&T, Verizon, British Telecom, Électricité de France, Energy Australia and Telus, among others. In England, QC Data manages over 60% of all utilities’ data asset records.

QC Data’s Charlotte expansion was prompted by a major long-term contract to service a major telecom client’s Southeastern U.S. network. From corporate headquarters in Denver, the company maintains multiple offices in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. The Charlotte office is located on McCullough Drive in the University City area.
