Charlotte Works Acquires New Space in Charlotte

Charlotte Works, a private/public partnership that brings together Charlotte area resources to educate, empower and engage Charlotte’s workforce, has secured a new 15,000 square foot Employer Engagement Center located at 1401 West Morehead Street. The newly rebranded organization just completed the transformation of the workforce delivery system that it hopes will become a model for North Carolina.

“Charlotte Works is about helping people help themselves, empowering them with new job skills and translating those skills into actual, paying jobs,” said Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx. “By connecting the needs of employers to the skills of our growing workforce, we will put Charlotte back to work.”

The Employer Engagement Center provides customized resources including coaching, training and networking opportunities, which help to develop, align and connect job seekers with Charlotte area employers.

Both employers and job seekers can find out more by going to www.charlotteworks.com.
