Charlotte is fortunate to be the home of some of the country's brightest minds and most successful CEOs. Men and women from a variety of industries who have demonstrated their dynamic leadership skills not only within their respective companies, but also within the business community as a whole.

With so much talent available, the chamber decided to tap into this valuable resource; creating a new series where leaders can share their unique insight. Entitled "Perspectives in Leadership," the series offers a rare opportunity for members to see a different side to Charlotte's influential CEOs.

Duke Energy president of the Carolinas' Brett Carter kicked off the series last week at the chamber where he was interviewed by Moore & Van Allen's Valecia McDowell. In the video below, Carter talks about when he realized he had leadership potential.
