JELD-WEN to Locate North American
Headquarters in Charlotte
North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue announced today that JELD-WEN will locate its North American headquarters in Charlotte. JELD-WEN, inc., a manufacturer of windows and doors with global headquarters in Klamath Falls, Ore., plans to create 142 jobs and $2 million in investment in the next two years. Compensation will vary by job function, but the average annual payroll will be more than $13.4 million, plus benefits.

In addition to business necessities such as an international airport and professional services, we also appreciate Charlotte’s outstanding quality of life and affordable cost of living.”
JELD-WEN has approximately 20,000 employees across more than 100 locations in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. The company’s extensive product offering encompasses windows, exterior doors, interior doors and related building products that are sold globally through multiple distribution channels, including retail home centers, wholesale distributors and building products dealers.
