Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator John S. Pistole will travel to Charlotte in January to listen to community members opinions of how the agency is performing and how it might be improved. Pistole will also brief business leaders on future plans for the agency and his vision to make TSA a high-performing counterterrorism organization using a risk-based and intelligence driven approach to security.
Pistole's visit to the Queen City will take place on January 24 at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. He'll first hold a small group roundtable discussion for CEOs and business owners that is closed to the press. That will be followed by a town hall opportunity at 4 p.m. that is open to all chamber members.
