Take advantage of your chance to represent the Charlotte business community and remind legislators of businesses' needs during our annual trip to D.C. on March 13 to 14, 2013. During the trip, chamber rmembers will have a private briefing with U.S. Chamber of Commerce representatives to gain better insight on issues affecting business, including transportation, workforce development, immigration, small business, health care and energy.
We also plan to meet with Administration representatives from the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, Energy and Transportation. On the evening of March 13, chamber members will have the opportunity to network with congressional delegates from across the state of North Carolina at a reception on Capitol Hill. The following morning, the group will take part in one-on-one briefings with members of our congressional delegation.
This trip is now open to Chamber members at the General level and above at a cost of $950 if you register before February 24. The fee includes lodging, meals and transportation in D.C but not airfare. Hurry, after February 24, the price increases to $1,000.
