Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will hold three town-hall meetings in the coming weeks. The meetings will provide an opportunity to gather employee and public input on budget priorities and to share information from the 22 task forces convened by the superintendent.

The first town hall will be Feb. 27 at E.E. Waddell Language Academy (7030 Nations Ford Rd., Charlotte). The second will be March 4 at North Mecklenburg High (11201 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville) and the third March 11 at Butler High School (1810 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd., Matthews). All three will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The meetings will open with about 45 minutes of budget discussion led by Dr. Morrison. Then participants will break up into smaller groups to hear from task-force representatives and provide feedback about the work. Representatives from each of the task forces will be present at all three meetings.
