The Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Ryan McDaniels of Cornelius, N.C., has accepted the position of executive director of the Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corporation. He will start in his new position April 15, 2013.
McDaniels currently serves as the vice president of economic development for Cabarrus Economic Development, having worked for Cabarrus since 2001. He is a certified economic developer (International Economic Development Council) and is one of the youngest ever to receive the designation.
“I am excited to accept the executive director position at the Lake Norman Regional Economic Development Corporation,” said McDaniels. “The towns of Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville offer numerous benefits to new and expanding businesses considering North Carolina and the Charlotte region. My key focus will be to provide diverse and competitive real estate options for these companies.”
