Instructions on How to Configure
Email Notification of New Projects
Vendors and suppliers may wish to receive email notifications when a new project is added to the MarketPlace system. To do this you will add a new Search to your account. You may choose to be notified when projects are posted to a certain category or contain a specific keyword. Or you may opt to receive notification for all new projects.
- Login to MarketPlace with your userid/password.
- Click the MarketPlace Menu on the right side of the screen.
- Click Add a New Search.
- Type a Description (examples: Technology RFPs, Printing Projects, etc.) The description is the name of your "saved search" and will show up under the My Searches menu.
- Enter a Keyword or keywords that matches the services or products you provide. Or you may leave this field blank to include all projects.
- Choose a Category that fits your line of work. Or you may choose (All Categories) to be notified of new projects in all categories.
- Click Submit
*Note: to receive email notifications regarding all new
projects posted to the system, just type a Description (example: All
Projects) and leave the Keywords and Category fields blank.
MarketPlace participants are also notified of the following by email:
- When a bidder submits a bid to a project you have posted
- When an addendum is added to a project for which you submitted a bid
- When a project for which you submitted a bid has closed due to removal from the system or because the due date has passed
- When your bid has been selected as the winning bid for a project
Please verify that your email address is correct to ensure you receive notifications. Click MarketPlace Menu link and choose Change Email to verify or change your email address. If you do not receive notifications, you may want to check your SPAM blocker and add webadmin@charlottechamber.com to your WhiteList.
