The Charlotte Chamber Power of Women (POW) is a program series and network platform designed to inspire and empower women, as well as connect women’s professional groups and organizations in the Charlotte region. In addition, Power of Women seeks to accomplish the following objectives:
- Support relationship building among professional women
- Identify potential mentoring opportunities for diverse, multigenerational women at various stages in their career journey
- Foster greater collaboration and partnerships among Charlotte’s professional women’s networks
The 2017 Power of Women (POW) series promises to be the most impactful, educational and inspiring yet. We held our season kickoff in March with a networking event that attracted 150 professionals. This year, we are planning August and September sessions that will focus on purposeful networking, and, we will highlight women who have paved the way in male-dominated fields. Don't forget about our smaller group discussions on specific challenges at our POWHer Conversations. The next session is scheduled June 22, 2017.
