Meet the Research Team

The Charlotte Regional Business Alliance’s research team tracks the economic and demographic trends that affect your business and the broader Charlotte economy, much of which is available online. The department produces publications and online dashboards on target industries, new and expanded businesses, and economic indicators. Custom research is also available for Charlotte Regional Business Alliance member businesses at the board of advisor level and above. Chuck leads the Alliance’s research department and strategy. He handles internal and external research requests and conducts economic impact analyses of existing industries and development projects. Contact Chuck for information on the Charlotte economy and the chamber’s research data.

Antony grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where he developed a love for the Carolinas. Prior to joining the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance as the Director of Research, Antony worked as a Management Analyst in Orange County, North Carolina and in economic development for the City of Hyattsville, in Maryland.

Antony has a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies from North Carolina State University and a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. Antony enjoys spending time with his wife, running, and being outdoors.

Akofa is responsible for analyzing the Charlotte economy, designing chamber surveys, managing existing industry databases, and handling internal research and external requests.
