Charlotte Chamber Announces Changes to Investor Relations and Campaign Teams

The Charlotte Chamber is pleased to announce exciting changes to its investor relations team. Lauren Layne is now vice president of investor relations. In her new role, Layne oversees the IRM team in the stewardship of more than 500 member accounts and all efforts to recruit new investment. Additionally, Layne directly represents over 40 of the chamber’s top investor companies and facilitates new executive volunteerism opportunities through special projects. A graduate of UNC Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing, she previously worked with the Alamance County Chamber and Little Pink Houses of Hope.

Allie Hanson joins the chamber as director of investor relations. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Allie received a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University. Allie has more than 10 years' experience in community relations, nonprofit work, and fundraising. She was previously employed with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the PGA.

Savannah Turner is the chamber’s new campaign director. The Charlotte native is responsible for leading the chamber’s annual fundraising campaign which plays a significant role in the organization’s yearly budget. A graduate of North Carolina State University, she received a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Savannah began her nonprofit career with the ALS Association. She is a member of the Women’s Advisory Group for Charlotte Family Housing and the Junior League of Charlotte.
